Miu Miu Eyewear

Fashion's intellectual rebellion

"Miu Miu isn't for the woman who wants to go unnoticed. It's for the one who sees fashion as an intellectual game, a deliberate mix of rigour and provocation, of the classic and the unexpected."

The Origin: The Rebel Sister

To understand Miu Miu, you have to understand its creator. Founded in 1993 by Miuccia Prada, the brand takes its name from the designer's childhood nickname. If Prada is the older sister, sophisticated and minimalist, Miu Miu is the younger one: free-spirited, experimental and deliberately subversive.

It was created as a space where Miuccia could explore her more spontaneous and personal side, away from the strict codes of the parent house. Miu Miu celebrates a complex, intelligent, and at times contradictory femininity, where the conceptual becomes wearable and the intellectual becomes powerful.

The Aesthetic: Subversive Femininity

In the world of eyewear, Miu Miu translates this philosophy into glasses that are true statements of structural style. They don't simply aim to flatter, but to challenge convention with bold facial architecture.

The Play of Shapes

From sharp cat-eye silhouettes to futuristic geometries and oversized shield glasses. Miu Miu uses volume and pure lines as its main means of expression.

Absence as Adornment

The brand redefines luxury through what it removes: rimless lenses ('Rasoir'), broken frames, or the use of raw metal and polished black acetate as the only protagonists.

Graphic Logomania

The Miu Miu logo isn't used as decoration but as a key graphic and structural element, especially the bold vertical logo on wide, high-contrast temples.
